The Quality Management Plan

Objectives of the QMP

The ADRI Quality Management Plan (QMP) is the blueprint for quality across all our activities. Its primary objectives are to:
  • Provide a clear framework for managing QM processes to support successful project delivery and operational activities.
  • Detail how ADRI ensures compliance with our internal Quality Manual, as well as relevant legislative and contractual requirements.
  • Clearly communicate roles and responsibilities related to quality.
  • Identify and provide access to supporting procedures and tools for consistent quality execution.

Structure of the QMP

Our QMP is meticulously structured for clarity and effective implementation:

Part A: Overview

This section clearly defines Quality Manual Elements and Expectations, outlines legislative and client requirements, and establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring success.

Part B: Implementation Plan

This describes how the Project or Operation will meet each Element and Expectation, assigns responsibilities, and details the specific Procedures and Deliverables for each expectation

Annexures

These provide supporting detail behind the methodology and systems used to support the implementation plan.

Our Integrated Management System (IMS)

DEFINITION

The ADRI Integrated Management System (IMS) is a cohesive set of tools and resources that define how we manage quality, health & safety, and the environment at all levels of our business. It ensures a holistic approach to our operational standards.

STRUCTURE

The IMS development and application are shared:

  • Corporate Functions develop core components: Values, Policies, Elements & Expectations, and Procedures & Forms. These form the framework standards applicable to all services.
  • Business Stream or Project/Operation builds upon these elements to develop specific Management Plans, local Procedures & Forms, and the overall site-specific IMS.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Review: Assessing current performance and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Policies: Updating or establishing policies based on reviews.
  • Planning: Developing strategies and action plans.
  • Implement & Operate: Putting plans into action and monitoring their effectiveness.

Core Elements & Expectations of Our QMS

Our QMP is structured around 11 core Elements, derived from the Al Dhafra Recycling Industries Quality Manual. Each Element describes a key aspect for managing quality, supported by an "Intent" (its overall purpose) and "Expectations" (the high-level outcomes to be achieved).

Verification and Improvement: Audits & Reviews

The "Audit & Review" element is crucial for the vitality of our QMS. ADRI conducts regular internal quality audits in accordance with a pre-defined schedule. These audits are meticulously planned and tracked, focusing on:
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement (OFI).
  • Addressing any Major or Minor non-conformances raised.
This proactive approach ensures that our QMS remains effective, compliant, and continually evolving to meet new challenges and standards in recycled aggregate production.
