At ADRI, we produce 100% Recycled Crushed Aggregates (RCA) by meticulously processing construction and demolition (C&D) materials. This process not only diverts significant waste from landfills but also creates a high-performance material. Our standard RCA is a well-graded product, typically 0-37.5 mm, engineered to meet demanding specifications for various civil engineering and construction uses. MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. RECYCLED CRUSHED AGGREGATES (RCA)
Our flagship Recycled Crushed Aggregate is a well-graded material, 100% derived from C&D waste through our advanced C&D Waste Recycling process. It offers a sustainable and high-performance alternative to virgin aggregates for a multitude of construction needs.

5mm Recycled Aggregates
Used in fine concrete mixes, manufacturing of smaller precast concrete elements, some types of block production, screeds, and as a component in asphalt surface courses for finer textures.
10mm Recycled Aggregates
Widely used in general concrete mixes for pathways and domestic slabs, production of concrete blocks and pavers, precast elements, drainage layers behind retaining walls, and as a component in asphalt binder courses.
20mm Recycled Aggregates
A common choice for general purpose structural concrete (foundations, slabs, beams), larger precast units, robust sub-base layers for driveways and light roads, and effective in soakaways or larger drainage applications.
Quality: All single-sized aggregates maintain high quality through our rigorous Quality Management System.
2. RECYCLED APSHALT PRODUCT (RAP)
A sustainable solution for road construction, produced from reclaimed asphalt pavement. This reduces reliance on virgin bitumen and aggregates, promoting a circular economy in road infrastructure.
Consistently crushed to a 0-37.5mm gradation; significant inventory typically available (e.g., over 300,000 tons).
Primary applications include - Incorporation into new hot-mix asphalt (HMA) and warm-mix asphalt (WMA) designs, construction of durable road base and sub-base layers, and for surfacing road shoulders.
3. ENGINEERED ROAD BASE MATERIALS
A suite of recycled aggregates specifically engineered to meet varying load-bearing capacities and structural requirements essential for modern road and pavement construction.
Road Base CBR80
Designed for main load-bearing base courses in highways, arterial roads, airport pavements, and other heavily trafficked areas requiring high structural integrity.
Road Base CBR45
Suitable for sub-base layers under primary roads, base courses for secondary roads and urban streets, and for constructing heavy-duty hardstandings and industrial yards.
Road Base CBR15
Effective as capping layers over weak subgrades to provide a stable construction platform, for temporary haul roads, general site access roads, and subgrade improvement.

SUB-BASE & BASE COURSE
ADRI's RCA is exceptionally suited for sub-base and base course applications in road construction. Its excellent compaction characteristics, high CBR values, and consistent gradation provide a stable foundation for pavements, highways, and access roads, ensuring long-term performance and reduced reliance on natural resources. It's also ideal for structural fill and sub-ballast requirements.
TRENCH BEDDING
For utility installations and drainage systems, our RCA serves as an optimal trench bedding material. It offers good drainage, is easy to compact around pipes and cables, and provides stable support, protecting critical infrastructure. Its use contributes to efficient project execution and resource conservation. Also suitable for general pipe bedding.
READY MIX & PRECAST SUPPORT
While our standard 0-37.5mm RCA is primarily for foundational layers, ADRI also explores the potential of single-size recycled aggregates. Properly processed and graded recycled aggregates can be incorporated into ready-mix concrete for various applications, and in the manufacturing of precast elements, blocks, and interlocking pavers, contributing to greener construction. We also produce Recycled Asphalt Product (RAP) suitable for asphalt mix designs.

Rigorous Third-Party Testing
ADRI's RCA undergoes comprehensive testing by leading independent laboratories like Element Materials Technology. This includes sieve analysis (BS 812 Sec 103.1), flakiness/elongation indices (BS 812 Part 105), Los Angeles Abrasion (AASHTO T96), CBR tests (AASHTO T193), and chemical analysis for chloride and sulphate content (BS 812 Pt 117/118).

Our recycled aggregates consistently meet or exceed the requirements of local and international standards, including ADQCC (Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council) specifications for sub-base and base course materials, as well as relevant ASTM and AASHTO standards. Key Performance Properties
Expect excellent physical properties such as optimal gradation, high CBR values (e.g., interpolated CBR at 98% MDD often exceeding 120, sometimes reaching over 200 as per test reports), low abrasion loss, and controlled levels of deleterious materials, ensuring durability and structural integrity.
